Zanu PF wants ZIG as the sole currency in Zimbabwe

HARARE – There’s been mixed reaction from Zimbabwe economists following the ruling Zanu PF party’s call to adopt the Zimbabwe Gold (ZIG) currency as the sole legal tender.

Among its resolutions during the just-ended annual conference in Bulawayo Zanu PF wants US,Rand and others currencies to be scrapped, to leave only the ZIG trading.
